Recent visit to Srisailam

On 21st of November (Karthika Masam) we (almost 15 people including children) have been to Srisailam by road (mini-bus). Started in Hyderabad by 9:00 am, reached Srisailam by 2:30 pm with a couple of halts. Took rooms, got refreshed, had lunch and immediately rushed to the Temple to have darshan at 5:00 pm. Darshan was satisfactory, ladies lit the lights (Karthika Deepalu) and did some puja. At around 7:30 pm we started back, reached Hyderabad by 01:30 am (early hours of next day). Children enjoyed by seeing monkeys and dam, elders purchased some mats (Tunga Chapa) and Vibhooti during the trip. All the arrangements were done by in-laws, overall the trip was satisfactory.

Recent visit to Shirdi

Recently I've visited Shirdi with my family. We book the Shirdi package from APTDC and darshan ticket from SAI.org. Due to the advance booking (one week before), we have completed the darshan in 30 minutes on a busy day like Sunday. APTDC package includes, to and flow journey by AC MERC/VOLVO bus (good) and accommodation (not good). Overall the trip is good.

Leader

Recently I watch the Telugu movie 'Leader'. The way Sekhar Kammula narrated and directed the story is excellent, without pointing to any political party or Politian he explained the current political situation in Andhra Pradesh. Music (by Mickey J Meyer) and background score are very good. I suggest every Indian should watch it once.

Indian Premier League Cricket Match

On Thursday May 1st 2008 we've been to Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad to watch the Indian Premier League Cricket Match between Deccan Chargers and Kings XI Punjab. Its a great experience to watch the match. VVS Lakshman, Rohit Sharma and Shaun Marsh played well in the match. Priety Zinta, Imran hasmi and Sumanth (telugu hero) are the highlights of the evening. Kings XI Punjab won the match by 7 wickets
