Recent Visit

Recently we have been to Vizag, Borra Caves, Araku and Simhachalam. Journey to Borra from Vizag by Kirandul Train is an exciting experience. The train starts climbing up the hills through tunnels and bridges. The green valley and river combination gives a spectacular view from the train. Through out the hill region of this line patrolling staffs of Indian Railway give clearance to all passing by trains as they continuously monitor the track for any land slide, tree falling or any other type of damages. Borra Caves is worth watching and adventures, these caves spread over an area of one square KM and the origin of river Gosthani which flows through the district.

Roller 3.1

Recently i've evaluated Apache Roller 3.1 software. This is a nice server based blogging software. Can be very easy to configure and deploy on Tomcat webserver. Roller supports all of the latest-and-greatest weblogging features such as comments, WYSIWYG HTML editing, page templates, RSS syndication, trackback, blogroll management, and provides an XML-RPC interface for blogging clients. The next version of Apache Roller is 4.0 will expected to release soon.

Recent buy

Recently I bought a Canon Powershot 850 IS digital camera. Its really a great camera to buy. It has got most of the features a good digital camera should have plus a wonderful LCD and Image Stabilizer. Still I'm exploring it.

So far what i found is (writing only negative points, you can assume rest all are positive points) ...

Not showing battery life, ISO on LCD
Not printing Date on all Photo sizes (only for postcard size it will print)

Hope this post might help some people who might want to buy a digital camera.
